By using the mobile horsebox sauna, cold bucket shower, and ice bath services provided by Ilo Sauna, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, which are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.

1. Acceptance of terms

By booking and/or participating in the services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not accept these terms, you may not participate.

2. Health and safety

2.1 Health requirements

  • You must ensure you are in good physical health before using the facilities. Participation in sauna, a cold bucket shower, and ice bath services involves exposure to extreme temperatures and carries certain health risks.

  • You confirm that you do not have any medical conditions that could be aggravated by heat or cold, including but not limited to:

    • Cardiovascular issues or heart conditions.

    • Respiratory or circulatory problems.

    • High or low blood pressure.

    • Pregnancy or other medical conditions that could pose a risk.

  • If you have any concerns about your health, consult a healthcare professional before participating.

2.2 Safety guidelines

  • Follow all safety instructions provided by Ilo Sauna staff.

  • Use caution around potentially slippery surfaces.

  • Notify staff immediately if you experience discomfort, dizziness, or any other adverse symptoms.

3. Assumption of risk

  • By participating, you acknowledge that the use of the sauna, cold bucket shower, and ice bath involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

    • Burns

    • Dehydration

    • Hypothermia

    • Frostbite

    • Falls

    • Other physical injuries.

    • Slippery surfaces caused by water, ice, snow, or other substances

    • Exposure to cold and hot temperatures 

    • Exposure to hot equipment 

    • Increased internal body temperature 

    • Collisions or contact with other persons and objects inside or outside of the Sauna 

    • Exposure to airborne illnesses or transmittable diseases 

    • Defects or weaknesses in the design, construction, repair, or modification of the Sauna 

    • Visible and invisible natural or man-made hazards in or around the Sauna 

    • Other foreseeable and unforeseeable risks that contribute to the unpredictability

  • You voluntarily assume all risks associated with these activities and accept full responsibility for your participation.

  • You assume responsibility for your own safety and personal property.

4. Limitation of Liability

4.1 Release of Liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, Ilo Sauna, its owners, staff, and agents will not be held liable for any injury, illness, death, property damage, or loss arising from your participation in the services.

4.2 Participant Responsibility

  • You agree to take personal responsibility for your actions and acknowledge that Ilo Sauna is not liable for injuries resulting from your failure to follow instructions or engage in reckless behaviour.

5. Booking and Cancellation Policy

  • Bookings: All bookings must be made in advance and are subject to availability.

  • Cancellations: Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled session. Late cancellations may incur a fee, in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

  • Refunds: Refunds are issued at the discretion of Ilo Sauna and in accordance with UK consumer protection laws.

6. Emergency Medical Treatment

In case of an emergency, you consent to receiving any necessary medical treatment. You understand that you are responsible for all related medical costs.

7. Photography and Media Consent

  • Ilo Sauna may take photos or videos during sessions for promotional purposes.

  • If you do not wish to be included in promotional materials, please notify staff in advance.

  • By participating, you grant permission to use your image unless you have opted out. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at hello@ilosauna.co.uk.

8. Data Protection and Privacy

  • Ilo Sauna complies with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

  • Your personal data will be used for booking management, communication, and safety purposes.

  • Your data will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

  • Emergency Contact Information: To ensure participant safety, Ilo Sauna may request emergency contact details. This information will only be used in case of an emergency and stored securely in accordance with UK GDPR. You have the right to access, update, or request the deletion of this data at any time by contacting us at hello@ilosauna.co.uk.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Agreement to Terms

By participating, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
